The Office of Information Technology provides technology-based services to meet the academic and administrative needs of the University. These services range from state-of-the-art classrooms to providing access to leading edge research networks.

Coming Soon! New Tracks Account System and Processes

IT is rolling out a new identity management system to replace the current Tracks system. This system will make it easier to provision new Tracks accounts and provide more self-service management options for all users. 

Current Tracks account holders will use the new system for password changes and username recovery. New Tracks account holders will follow an improved process to claim their account.

Changes to DUO

Effective 4/22/24, the Office of Information Security has made some changes to DUO, in order to tighten security surrounding the applications that utilize DUO 2-factor authentication (2FA). Review the specific updates >>

Phone Service Migration

The Office of Information Technology has been upgrading the campus phone service to the cloud and migrating all phone users to this new service.

Campus Network Infrastructure Upgrades

A multi-year project to upgrade the campus network infrastructure is underway.  Upgrades include additional wireless access points in Olin Engineering, Olin Physical Sciences, Skurla, and Panther Dining Hall; new outdoor wireless access points; and outdoor fiber underlay to support our wireless and wired network-connected campus. 

TeamDynamix: IT's Ticketing System

TeamDynamix launched in January and is an IT Service Management (ITSM) system that is widely user in many industries to help IT offices manage tickets, projects, technology assets, changes, and much more.

IT's new chatbot, Astra, recently launched and we are excited to offer the campus a new way of requesting assistance!
